Obituary

Ruth Graham died in the early morning hours of August 16, 2023, in her sleep. She was born Wilma Ruth Wilson in Vanceburg, KY to Cecil and Wanda Wilson on January 31, 1932. Ruth was loved and beloved by many. She lived a long and full life of service to others and God. Ruth was a loving wife to Edgar Boyer, and mother to Mark and Michael Boyer. Later she was beloved wife to Thomas Graham, and stepmother to Thomas Graham, Jr. and Teri Christianson.

Ruth served her community and church, Providence Presbyterian, providing love, support, and acceptance to all. She believed God chose her to be a force of kindness and love in this world and lived her life according to those values. She was a truly wonderful person and a blessing to have known and loved. She is survived by her brother, Doug Wilson (Jewel); daughters, Mona Boyer and Linda Graham; five grandchildren, Joseph Sims (Brittany), Rachael Held (Bryan), Jonathan Graham, Connor Boyer (Sheryl), and Sarah Murphy (Travis); and seven great-grandchildren, Liliana Held, Alex Held, Joseph Michael Sims, Jr., Mark Boyer, Roslyn Boyer, Tyler Murphy, and Julian Murphy.

Her family will host a Celebration of Life at a later date. Parkway Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
