Willie Thomas Letson

Funeral service for Willie Thomas Letson, age 75, of Town Creek will be 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bob Shafer and Shane Letson officiating.  The family will receive friends for one hour prior to service.  Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Town Creek.  Guestbook available at www.parkwayfunerals.com.

Willie, who  passed away on May 15, 2024, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born September 10, 1948, in Alabama to Madison Letson and Bertha Kelley Letson.  He was a meat packer for J. B. Swift in Louisville, KY and retired following 30 years of service.

Willie leaves a son, Shannon Letson (Laura); daughter, Whitney McCaslin (Gary); brother, Matthias Letson (Carolyn); three sisters, Vernell Shafer (Bob), Sylvia Turner, and Flora Bradford (James); two grandsons, Austin Letson and Jarrett Letson (Jillian); three great-grandsons; and a host of nephews and nieces.

Pallbearers will be Jarrett Letson, Austin Letson, Barry Letson, Billijack Bradford, Jason Bradford, and Larry Bradford.
