William Louis Sigler

William Louis Sigler, age 87 of Decatur, Alabama passed Monday January 19, 2026 at his residence with family.  Parkway Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Mr. Sigler was born January 12, 1939, in Pontiac, Michigan to Wilson Louis Sigler and Catherine Marie Tiers Sigler.

He was preceded in death by his son, Stephen Sigler;  daughter, Vicki Barr; his parents; brothers Robert Sigler (Silvia) and Jerry Sigler (Linda); and sisters, Karen Tait (Fergus) and Susan Scott (Randy).

He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Joy Gay Sigler; son, Jeff Ocker; daughters, Cynthia Keim and Kelley Stauffer; six grandchildren; Tommy Davis, Chase Barr, Lance Barr, Christopher Sigler, Crystal Sigler and Aubrey Stauffer.

Bill retired from GM Truck and Coach after 37 years of service. He was a proud member of the GM Value Analysis, Detroit chapter. A lifetime member of the Pontiac Waterford Elks 810, Clarkston Eagles 3373, Pontiac Moose Lodge 182.

Bill knew no strangers and thoroughly enjoyed his family and friends!

There will be a Celebration of Life at the Clarkston Eagles on February 7, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. (5640 Maybe Road, Clarkston, MI).
