William Daniel Roberts, Sr.

William Daniel Roberts, Sr., age 71, of Moulton, died Friday, May 24, 2024, at Decatur Morgan Hospital.  Arrangements will be announced at a later date.

Mr. Roberts was born January 10, 1953, in Warsaw, MO to Arthur E. Roberts and Rosemary Mouzakis.  He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Orville E. Roberts; and sister, Gennie Rehmer.  He was retired from the Sante Fe Railroad.  Residing in Kansas City, KS for many years, he then moved to Alabama where his two children reside.  Building engines was a beloved activity, as were his mud truck and cruising on his Harley.  His special joy was spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his son, William D. Roberts, Jr. (Melissa); daughter, Mary Dean (James); brother, Eddie Blasche; seven grandchildren, Audrey Frost, Summer Hannen, Jordan Hannen, Eric Terry, John Terry, Dustin Terry, and Jacob Dean; and four great-grandchildren with a fifth on the way.
