William Iceam Hensley

Funeral service for William I. Hensley, age 86, of Danville, will be 12:00 p.m. on Friday, May 15, 2026, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Justin Smith officiating.  The family will receive friends for one hour prior to service.  Interment will be in Macedonia Church of Christ Cemetery (2931 County Road 158, Florence).  

Mr. Hensley, who died Friday, May 8, 2026, at his residence, was born September 28, 1939, in Alabama to Otto Hensley and Mildred Maybelle Lynne Hensley.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris June Hensley, and his parents.  Mr. Hensley served in the Army National Guard.

He is survived by his sons, Todd Hensley (Sharon), Barry Hensley (Teresa), and Jeremy Hensley (Candy); daughters, Felicia Vest (Allen), Kerry Fields (Tom), and Stacey Hubbard (Randy); 17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Alan Hardy, Chris Hensley, Nicholas Hardy, Aaron Walker, Matt Scholwinski, and Colton Hensley.  Honorary pallbearers will be Blake Hensley and Hunter Hardy.
