Wallace Owel Posey

Funeral service for Wallace Owel Posey, age 85 of Moulton, will be 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Marcus Lipscomb officiating.  The family will receive friends on Friday, March 29, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Interment wll be in Moulton Memory Gardens.  Guestbook available at www.parkwayfunerals.com.

Mr. Posey, who died Thursday, March 28, 2024, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born September 5, 1938, in Alabama to Frank Wallace Posey and Nilmarg Gladys Saint Posey.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Malcolm Posey.  Mr. Posey was a Sheriff's Deputy and a farmer.

He is survived by his son, Deral Posey (Patti); sister, Wilda Cottingham (Paul); and sister-in-law, Becky Posey.

Pallbearers will be Charles Hamby, Jarrod Jones, Greg Posey, Anthony Posey, Glenn Posey, and Leland Free.
