Vicki Sue (Vandiver) Milam

Vicki Sue Vandiver Milam, age 60, of Decatur died Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at Summerford Nursing & Rehabilitation.  Her family will host a Celebration of Life at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at Soul Harbor Baptist Church in Somerville.  Interment of cremains will follow at Basham Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery in Hartselle.  Parkway Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. 

Ms. Milam was born September 25, 1964, in Hammond, IN to Harold Wayne Vandiver and Verda Lance Caldwell Vandiver.  She was preceded in death by her stepson, Tommy Milam; parents; brother, Steve Vandiver; and sister, Nanette Lovell.  

She is survived by her daughter, Teesha Colboch (Damion Brackins); stepdaughter, Heather Casteel (Alex); three sisters, Pamela Lott (Eric), Tiffany Smith, and Christine Landers; nine grandchildren, Breanna Murphree (Riley), Sincere Baker, Kaydon Baker, Damion Brackins, Jr., Dylan Milam, Jordan Milam, Landon Milam, Carter Casteel, and Evan Casteel; great-grandchild, Blaire Murphree; former husband, Tommy Milam, Sr.; and a host of nephews, nieces, and extended family who loved her..
