Thomas Melvin Denham

Mr. Thomas Melvin Denham, age 81, of Trinity, died Monday, May 22, 2023, at Decatur Health & Rehabilitation.  His family will host a private interment in Midway Memorial Gardens at a later date.  

Mr. Denham was born December 9, 1941, in Indiana to Thomas H. Denham and Alice Lorraine (Loux) Denham.   He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosemary Clarkston Denham, his parents, and two brothers, James Denham and Ronnie Denham.  He served as owner/operator of Denham Machine and Tool.  An accomplished guitar and saxophone player, Mr. Denham loved music, as well as gardening.  His greatest joy in life was his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by two sons, Steve Denham (Kathy) and Thomas Bryan Denham (Karen); daughter, Laura Denham; four sisters, Eula Jean Jones, Phyllis Armstrong, Beth Schonk (Jim), and Marcia Denham; seven grandchildren, Ryan Denham, Nick Denham, Karlee Denham, Katie Denham, Andrew Denham, Maddox Denham, and Kaitlyn McGinnis; and three great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org) or your favorite charity.
