Thomas Reeves

Funeral for Thomas Reeves, 75, of Trinity will be Friday, January 14, 2022, at Phillip's Chapel Holy Church of Christ, at 1:00 PM with Rev. Charles Williams officiating and Parkway Funeral Home directing.  Burial will be in Phillips Chapel Cemetery.  Visitation will be one hour before the service at the church.  Rev. Reeves, who died Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at his residence , was born Tuesday, August 13, 1946, to Regineld Whitney Reeves and Isabel Kipela Mattson Reeves.

Preceded in death by his  wife, Linda J. Reeves,  and his parents, Reginald and Isabel Reeves.

He is survived by his wife, Pam; 2 daughters, Christy Thompson (John) and Terri Anne Byram ( Mike); 1 grandson, Michael Ray Byram; 2 brothers Roy (Linda) and James (Jannis); 2 sisters Barbara Cooper (Lee) and Regina Henderson (Boyd); several nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends .

Thomas Was pastor of Pine Grove Holy Church of Christ in the Boldo community of Walker County. He had been preaching God’s word for 57 years, serving as pastor to several different churches in the Holy Church of Christ organization. He had the Joy Christian radio program for over 20 years teaching God’s word. When disaster hit, he would always be one of the first to volunteer to help distribute supplies, put on roofs, or wherever the need may be. He was one of the most loving, humble, and kind person that I have ever had the privilege to know. He was so loved, and will be so missed. This world was truly a better place with Thomas Reeves in it.
