Susan Camille (Darnell) Childers

Memorial service for Susan Camille (Darnell) Childers, age 64, of Trinity will be Saturday, January 7, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel.

Mrs. Childers, who died Monday, January 2, 2023, in Arab, was born August 1, 1958, in Michigan to James Kenneth Darnell and Audrey Virginia Tucker Darnell Sparks.  She was preceded in death by her father, and two brothers, Charles Darnell and Dwight Darnell.  Mrs. Childers was a loving caregiver for her grandchildren and her mother, and loved spending time with her children.  She thoroughly enjoyed clearance shopping and keeping watch on the news.  Candy Crush occupied much of her leisure time.  Her family lovingly says she was the absolute best mom and grandmother.

She is survived by two sons, Billy Childers (Sarah) and Craig Childers; one daughter, Kalina Childers; her mother, Audrey Sparks; three sisters, Kim Johnson, Linda Kremer, and Sharon Darnell; and four grandchildren, Kynslee Camille Marie Clark, Emery Rose Joleigh Cooper, Lilly Sue Childers, and Landyn James Childers.
