Mr. Browett, who passed away unexpectedly due to medical complications on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at his residence, was born July 26, 1973, in California to Lawrence Larry Browett and Deborah Kay High Browett. He was preceded in death by his mother, Deborah Kay High Browett, and great-nephew, Brock David Hill. Stephen was a 1993 graduate of Lawrence County High School where to many he was a smiling face and a kind heart. He battled through life with an iron fist and marched to the beat of his own drum. He was an avid Auburn football fan.
He is survived by three children, Keilah Delaney (Brian), Austin Browett (Raley), and Olivia Browett; father, Larry Browett (Michelle); three brothers, Michael Browett (Tonya), Warren Browett (itza), and Nate Browett; sister, Alexis Browett; two grandchildren, Madalyne Delaney and Ryelin Delaney; two nephews; niece, Jessica Browett (George); and two great-nieces, Kenzleigh Hill and Taylor Hill.
Pallbearers will be Austin Browett, Brian Delaney, Warren Browett, Chris Henderson, Wendall Henderson, and Cody Teems.
The family would like to send a special heartfelt "Thank you" to the East Lawrence community for their generosity in donations made at the Jet Pep Station where he was often found working behind the counter with a smiling face, a listening ear, or a joke.
