Sherrie Yvonne Day

Celebration of Life for Sherrie Yvonne Day, age 63, of Decatur, who died Sunday, December 22, 2024, at UAB Medical Center, will be 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Lebanon Church of God.  Parkway Funeral Home is assisting her family with arrangements.  

Ms. Day was born June 9, 1961, in Alabama to Arthur Day and Dorothy Smith Day.  She was preceded in death by her parents.   Ms. Day was self-employed in environmental services.

She is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Johnson (Bart) and Jessie Trent; two brothers, Jim Day (Tina) and Joe Day (Karen); sister, Hope Cooper (Johnny); four grandchildren, Kallie Johnson, Audrey Johnson, Sara Barnett, and Jace Klosinski; great-grandchild, Colton Hutto; and her precious canine companion, Little Girl.
