Sharron Dianne (Brewer) Berryman

Funeral service for Sharron (Brewer) Berryman, age 74, of Decatur, will be 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 3, 2023, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tony Pepper and Rev. Marcus Lipscomb officiating.   The family will receive friends for one hour prior to service at the funeral home.  Interment will be in Jones Chapel Cemetery.  

Mrs. Berryman, who died Thursday, August 31, 2023, at River City Center, was born November 28, 1948, in Alabama to John Brewer and Iva Lee Sapp.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Berryman; daughter, Sharron Lynn Berryman; her parents; and one sister, Martha Brewer.

She is survived by her son, Tommy Berryman; daughter, Andrea Cockrell (Tim); sister, Johnnie Dutton; four grandchildren, Lexie Berryman, Dakota Cockrell, Jake Cockrell (Kimberly), and Meghan Smiley; three nephews, Mark Brewer, Nathan Terry, and Matthew Harville; and one niece, Tina Bogan.

Pallbearers will be Kenneth Peebles, Mike "Bimbo" Moats, Harlan Jones, Jake Cockrell, Dakota Cockrell, and Randy Cockrell;  Honorary pallbearers will be Sam Kirby and Charles Mannes.
