Sandra Gayle (Bishop) Terry

Funeral service for Sandra Gayle (Bishop) Terry, age 77, of Hillsboro, will be 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 3, 2026, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Agee officiating.  The family will receive friends for one hour prior to service.  Interment will be in Moulton City Cemetery.  

Mrs. Terry, who died Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at NHC Moulton, was born February 1, 1949, in Alabama to George Earnest Bishop and Madgie Hill Bishop.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce L. Terry; parents; brothers, Bobby Beaty and Ronnie Bishop; sister, Janice Moon (Glenn).  Sandy was a retired court reporter for Judge Philip Reich, and was the owner of Lil' Hill Farm where she raised Nigerian dwarf goats.  She was a member of Victory Baptist Church.

She is survived by her stepson, Jason Bruce Terry (Marsha); stepdaughter, JoAnne LaFont (Doug); sister-in-law, Martha Beaty; and grandchildren, Parker LaFont and Jaxson Terry.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
