Ruth Josephine Byars

Landersville - Funeral for Ruth Josephine  Byars, 98, of Landersville  will be Sunday, November 1, 2020, at Parkway Funeral Home, at 10:00 AM with Pastor R.C. Borden officiating.  Burial will be in Landersville Cemetery.  Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home.  Mrs. Byars, who died Friday, October 30, 2020, was born, August 7, 1922, to Herman McMillian and Rena Almon McMillian. She was a member of Old Town Creek Baptist Church. 
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband - Robert Price Byars, Sr. sons - Butch Byars and Taylor Byars, sister - Sarah  Monroe
Survivors include:
Sons - Robert (Nan) Byars, John  (Theresa) Byars, George (Joy) Byars 
grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and a host of children in love from Bible Schools that she taught at her home. She volunteered at Moulton Middle School as a teachers assistant. 
Pallbearers will be grandsons and honorary pallbears will be great grandsons.
