Rodney Dual Terry

Funeral service for Rodney Dual Terry, age 58, of Town Creek, will be 2:00 p.m, on Sunday, July 28, 2024, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Scotty Letson officiating.  The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. prior to service.  Interment will be in Moulton Memory Gardens.  

Mr. Terry, who died Wednesday, July 24, 2024, in Decatur, was born March 3, 1966, in Alabama to Henry Dual Terry and Mary Frances Copeland Terry..  He was preceded in death by his son, Braxton Terry, and his parents.  Rodney enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially his sweet grandson, Kian.  In the fall he could be found watching Alabama or the Cowboys play football.  He loved the beach and always looked forward to the annual Memorial Day beach trip with his family.  He will be greatly missed by so many.

He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Lisa (Tyree) Terry; son, Ty Terry (Baylee); daughter, Sydney Rogers (Mason); sister, Rhonda Farley (Ferrell); and grandson, Kian Jax.

Pallbearers will be Steven Harville, Nic Farley, Austin Waldrep, Myles Tyree, Colby Harville, Noah Harville, Wade Dover, and Rusty Murks.  Honorary pallbearers will be Gregg Tyree, Ferrell Farley, Jay Villarreal, and his many friends from G.E.
