Robert O. "Robby" Posey

A Celebration on Life for Robby O. Posey, age 46, of Trinity will be 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 14, 2024, at Family Baptist Church with Rev. Ivan Pride and Rev. Dewayne Woodall officiating and Parkway Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends for two hours prior to service.  Interment will be in Oak Grove FCM Cemetery.  

Mr. Posey, who died Thursday, April 11, 2024, at Huntsville Hospital, was born August 27, 1977, in Alabama. He was the son of  Bobby and Charlotte Long Posey and Dewayne and Lorie Woodall. Robby was an active member of Family Baptist Church.  He loved spending time with family, hunting, traveling with friends and family, grilling, and serving others.

He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Shannon (Woodall) Posey; son, Carson Posey; two brothers, Corey Hibbs and Clay Randolph; three sisters, Amy Posey, Lauren Hibbs, and Magen Randolph and nephews/nieces, McKinley Graham, Michael Graham, Maggie Graham, Avery Kate Hibbs, Rue Hibbs, Colt Randolph, and Connor Randolph.  

Pallbearers will be Corey Hibbs, Clay Randolph, Lee Smith, Clay Fromhold, Boone Terry, and Tim Blaxton, Jr.  Honorary pallbearers will be Carson Posey, Alden Waldrep, Lane Smith, Barrett Hill, and Peyton Hill.
