Robert Lee "Catfish" Blaxton

Funeral service for Robert Lee "Catfish" Blaxton, age 69, of Trinity will be 12:00 p.m. on Monday, February 2, 2026, at Parkway Funeral Home with Rev. Mr. Blaxton, who died Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born June 22, 1956, in Alabama to Elkin Blaxton and Nora Mae Nix Blaxton.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers.  Robert especially loved his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild.  He also had a great love and talent for music, and could play many instruments.

He is survived by Sandra Blaxton; son, R. Heith "Catfish" Blaxton and wife, April; daughter, Cynthia Wallace and husband, Nathan; five grandchildren, Addie Wallace, Harli Blaxton, Isaiah Blaxton, Amariah Pointer, and Jade Leeann Blaxton; and great-granddaughter, Willow Grace Hall.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
