Richard Algan Hayes

Funeral service for Richard Algan "Rick" Hayes, age 60, of Moulton, will be 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Parkway Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Copeland officiating.  The family will receive friends for two hours prior to service.  Interment will be in Corinth Cemetery.

Mr. Hayes, who died Friday, May 8, 2026, at his residence, was born May 12, 1965, in Kentucky to Jerry Richard Hayes and Marjorie Fern Hensley Hayes..  He was preceded in death by his parents.  Mr. Hayes attended Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Moulton.  He was an Auctioneer/Realtor in Madison County, KY.  He lived a full and active life including being an avid horseman, Sunday School teacher, bass singer in a southern gospel quartet for 18 years, and a Christian worship leader.  He was a caring and loving husband, dad, brother, friend, mentor, coach, and farmer.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jessica Lynn (Blaske) Hayes; sons, John W. Hayes and Evan B. Hayes; daughter, Emilie J. Hayes; sister, Rhonda Mullins (Nate) of Lexington, KY; and a host of extended family and friends from Moulton to Kentucky.   

Pallbearers will be John W. Hayes, Evan R. Hayes, Nathan J. Mullins, Nic Mullins, Dr. Michael Kline, and Randal Young.  Honorary pallbearers will be PGBC Men's Class, Justin, Lear, and Jesse Pennington.
