Rayburn "Ray" Warren Obituary

Funeral service for Rayburn Warren, age 80, of Trinity, will be 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at Oak Grove FCM Church with Rev. Shane Williams officiating and Parkway Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends for two hours prior to service at the church.  Interment will be in Burningtree Memorial Gardens.  Guestbook available at www.parkwayfunerals.com.

Mr. Warren, who died Thursday, April 4, 2024, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born August 25, 1943, in Alabama to William Fennell Warren and Lorene Parker Warren.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty "Boop" Defoe Warren; parents; brother, Quinnon Warren; and two sisters, Lavern Keenum and Beth Parsons.  Mr. Warren was a U. S. Air Force veteran, and a deacon and faithful member of Oak Grove FCM Church.  He enjoyed many years of raising, training, and showing racking and walking horses, and was an avid Alabama Crimson Tide fan.  Above all he loved and served his Lord Jesus, loved and adored his wife, Betty, as well as his family and friends.

He is survived by his sister, Marie Kimbrough; four nephews; and three nieces.

Pallbearers will be Scott Claborn, Jason Dutton, Brooks Jordan, Charles Reeves, Darrell Keil, and Randy Wilson.
