Funeral service for Rachel Ann Reed, age 43, of Trinity, will be 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bruce Fitzgerald officiating. Ms. Reed, who died Saturday, September 6, 2025, at the Parkway Campus of Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born June 29, 1982, in Alabama to Brian L. Reed and Vickie L. Pankey Reed. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, H. Durwood Pankey, Harold Reed, Shirley Reed Morgan, and Burl Morgan; and brother-in-law, John Mears. Rachel loved being outdoors, whether it was hunting, searching for arrowheads, or growing and arranging flowers--especially wildflowers.
She is survived by her daughters, Peyton Savannah Reed (Zane Cooper) and Ava Quinn Reed; her parents, Brian and Vickie Reed; twin sister, Bridget Reed Mears; two grandchildren, McKenzie LeeAnn Cooper and Emery Jade Cooper; and two nephews, Camden Reed Mears and Mason Elijah Mears.
Pallbearers will be Jay Glenn, Rick Barry, Clint Cameron, Jamie Way, Jeffrey Sherrill, Landon Kirby, and Rodney Sparks.
