Trinity - Funeral for Preston J.  Stewart, 89, of Trinity will be Friday, February 12, 2021, at Parkway Funeral Home, at 2:00 PM with Rev. Randy Crawford and Rev. Eric Albright officiating.  Burial will be in Midway Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home.  Mr. Stewart, who died Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at his residence, was born, January 4, 1932, to Andrew Young Stewart and Mary Pearl Fuller Stewart.  He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church with a Sunday School
Perfect Attendance for 47 years. He worked for the City of Trinity for 27 years serving as Chief of the Police Department and working at the Water Department.  
He was preceded in death by his parents, Brothers - Quinton Stewart, Milton Stewart, Aulton Stewart, Leldon Stewart
Sisters - Gladys Pratt, Julia Roberts, Mary Wade
Survivors include:
Loving wife of 67 years - Minnie Stewart
Son - Rex D. Stewart
Daughter - Margaret Stewart (Randy) Crawford
Sister - Clara Jenkins
3 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild.  
Pallbearers will be Jim Glenn, Ralph Terry, Ivan Armor, Dwayne Blackman, Chris McLemore, Dicky Branum
