Peggy Leigh (Cottingham) Coffey

Funeral service for Peggy Leigh (Cottingham) Coffey, age 76, of Hillsboro, will be 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Caine Coffey officiating.  The family will receive friends for one hour prior to service at the funeral home.  Interment will be in Midway Memorial Gardens.  Guestbook available at www.parkwayfunerals.com.

Ms. Coffey, who died Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at her residence, was born November 11, 1946, in Alabama to Jimmy Cottingham and Lucille Norwood Cottingham.  She was preceded in death by her son, Thomas Rutherford; parents; two brothers, Larry Cottingham and Laverne Latham; three sisters, Glennis Cottingham, Patricia Ann Cottingham, and Tammie Sue Cottingham; son-in-law, Ronald Yauch; and one grandchild, Zachary Rutherford.  Following 18 years of service, she retired from International Paper.

She is survived by her daughter, Wanda F. Yauch; two brothers, Donnie Cottingham (Celeste) and Jimmy Cottingham (Joyce); one sister, Kathy Pitt (Judson); four grandchildren, Michael Muston (Christen), David Muston (Erin), Timmy Yauch (Michele), and Lakesha Rutherford; and ten great-grandchildren, Lucius Rutherford, Gabriel Rutherford, Jolie Muston, Miley Muston, Adaani Muston, Kayla Muston, Todd Muston, Alyssa Muston, Bella Rutherford, and Aubree Rutherford,  

Pallbearers will be Michael Muston, David Muston, Timmy Yauch, Stacy Pitt, Tanner Cottingham, Gabriel Sanchez, and Bobby Puckett.  Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Chambers and Bryce Woertz.
