Otis Earl Shelton

Funeral service for Otis Earl Shelton, age 87, of Trinity will be 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Scott Delashaw officiating.  The family will receive friends for one hour prior to service.  Interment will be in Midway Memorial Gardens.  

Mr. Shelton, who died Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born April 17, 1938, in Alabama to Garfield Shelton and Claris Childers Shelton.  He was preceded in death by his daughter, Summer Shelton Walch; his parents; and sister, Christine Alexander.  

He is survived by his wife, Sheron Shelton; son, Keith Shelton (Lorelei); daughters, Angie Shelton Nunley and Kristina Shelton Terry; stepson, Jed Perryman; brothers, Gilbert Shelton and Calvin Shelton; and nine grandchildren, Ashley Hines Clark, Steven Hines, Kevin Hines, Allie Appleton, Peyton Brad Ford Marcum; Piper Terry, Douglas Perryman, Devin Lee Carpenter, and Shay Carpenter.

Pallbearers will be Tony Shelton, Larry Shelton, Jason Shelton, Timmy Johnson, Chris Wilbanks, and Micah Clark.
