Ollie Faye (Franks) Bolan

Funeral service for Ollie Faye (Franks) Bolan, age 84, of Vinemont  will be 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Mrs. Bolan, who died Monday, February 17, 2025, at UAB Hospital, was born August 18, 1940, in Alabama to Dee Franks and Avon Riner Franks.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles J. Bolan Jr.; her parents; two brothers, Ray Franks and Hershel Franks; and sister, Suenell Etheredge.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her son, Charlie J. "Chad" Bolan, III (Brandi); two sisters, Reba Crow and Linda Perry (William); three grandchildren, Stashia Hamby (Joseph), Shaun Bolan (DeAnda), and Krysta Teal (Hunter); and six great-grandchildren, Brennon Potter, Jaycie Potter, Slade Hamby, Westin Bolan, WrenLee Bolan, and Cori Teal. 

Pallbearers will be Tony Crow, Wayne Franks, Hunter Teal, Joseph Hamby, Brennon Potter, and Terry Light.
