Norman James "Jim" Gearhart

Funeral service for Norman James "Jim" Gearhart, age 62, of Trinity, will be 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Eric Mattox officiating.  The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. prior to service at the funeral home.  Interment will be in Midway Memorial Gardens.  

Mr. Gearhart, who died Saturday, April 20, 2024, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born December 31, 1961, in Michigan, to Norman Lee Gearhart and Dorothy Campbell Gearhart.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Cathy Gearhart; parents; and sister, Leola Foust.  Mr. Gearhart was a proud lifelong member of Plumbers & Pipefitters Local Union 760, and a loving uncle to many nephews and nieces.

He is survived by his brother, Dale Gearhart (Tara); sister, Marcie Gladwell (Allen); and a host of nephews and nieces.

Pallbearers will be Greg Ezell, James Watson, Steven Thompson, Rocky Benson, Tim Hendon, and Mike Anglin.
