Nola Nadine (Shaddrix) Montgomery

Funeral service for Nola Nadine (Shaddrix) Montgomery, age 84, of Trinity will be 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Anthony Laster officiating.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at the funeral home.  Interment will be in Burningtree Memorial Gardens.  Guestbook available at www.parkwayfunerals.com.

Mrs. Montgomery, who died Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at UAB was born April 19, 1941, in Alabama to Gene Shaddrix and Myrtle Turner Shaddrix.  She was preceded in death by her son, Bobby Cryer; parents; brothers, Truman Shaddrix, Dwight Shaddrix, and John Shaddrix; and sisters, Betty Gene Blackwood and Fayteen Cryer.  

She is survived by her husband, Bobby Joe Montgomery; son, Scotty Cryer (Annette); daughters, Shelia Cryer and Connie Laster (Jimmy Hone); daughter-in-law, Carlene Cryer; brothers, Dewayne Shaddrix and Carl Shaddrix; sisters, Geraldine Smith, Marveline Rusk, Carol Carden, and Vicky Steele; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
