Nancy Rose Loosier Obituary

Graveside service for Nancy Rose (Holderfield) Loosier, age 78, of Moulton will be 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 21, 2025, at Courtland City Cemetery with Rev. Steve Agee officiating and Parkway Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.  

Mrs. Loosier, who died Friday, February 14, 2025, at UAB Hospital, was born September 12, 1946, in Alabama to James Oscar Holderfield and Willie B. (Rose)  Holderfield.  She was preceded in death by her parents.  She was a devoted wife for 62 1/2 years, and a loving mother and BamBam to so many. She loved and enjoyed taking care of all those around her. She was a member of New Antioch Church of Christ and loved all things purple.

She is survived by her husband of 62 1/2 years, Wayne Loosier; son, Alan Loosier (Lisa); two daughters, Lisa Bowling (Chris) and Kristy Loosier; brother, Robert Holderfield (Alice); six grandchildren, Kane Liles, Kam Liles, Jakob Terry, Wiley Bowling (Josie), Audrey Loosier, and Rachel Loosier; and three great-grandchildren, Nevaeh Liles, Kobe Liles, and Ezalea Liles.

Pallbearers will be Chris Bowling, Kane Liles, Kam Liles, Jakob Terry, Wiley Bowling, and Luke Byrd.  Honorary pallbearer will be Jimmy Ray Terry.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to The Heart Center in Huntsville, Alabama.
