Funeral service for Myrtle Marie (Hall) Pugh, age 87, of Moulton will be 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at Parkway Funeral Home with Bro. Austin Barrera officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to service. Interment will be in Midway Memorial Gardens. Guestbook available at www.parkwayfunerals.com.

Mrs. Pugh, who died Friday, January 3, 2025, at her residence, was born October 14, 1937, in Alabama to Dennis and Ella Mae Hall. She was preceded in death by her husband, B. W. Pugh; parents; and two brothers, Walter Hall and Corbet Hall. She was a faithful member of Orange Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday school and sang in their choir for many years while also serving as a deacon's wife. Myrtle was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church from 2005 to the present. There she taught Sunday school and was a member of the woven ministry. She retired from Haleyville Water Works following 20 years of service.
She is survived by her daughter, Gail Wilkinson (Tommy); brother, Curtis Hall(Freda); two sisters, Dorothy Smith (Billy) and Vicky Sanford; two sisters-in-law, MaeDean Hall and Juldean Hall; two grandchildren, Brandy Bradley (Adam) and Justin Hall; and three great-grandchildren, Carly Freemon, Levi Freemon, and Maddox Hall.
Pallbearers will be Adam Bradley, Levi Freemon, Tim Hall, Mike Pugh, Bob Hunter, and Max Minor. Honorary pallbearer will be Maddox Hall.
