Myra Joan (Frost) Blackwood

Myra Blackwood, age 73, of Falkville, was born January 21, 1952, in Michigan.  She passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at Summerford Nursing Home with her family by her side.  Her family may host a celebration of life at a later date.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruel and Emma Frost.

She is survived by her son, Houston Blackwood (Kyla); grandson, Rowan Blackwood; brother, Mike Frost (Debbie); two sisters, Janet Morgan (Rayburn) and Debbie Barnes (Sherman); and a host of nephews, nieces, and cousins who loved her.

Myra was a bright lady who enjoyed her family, crafts, gardening, flowers, and bird watching.  Her family would like to thank Summerford Nursing Home and Southern Care Hospice for their loving care.
