Melanie Mae (Roden) Harville

Funeral service for Melanie Mae (Roden) Harville, age 67, of Moulton, will be 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 17, 2024, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Benjamin Burt officiating.  The family will receive friends for one hour prior to service.  Interment will be in Midway Memorial Gardens.

Melanie Mae Roden Harville, of Moulton, AL  passed away on June 12, 2024, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. Her visitation will be on Monday, June 17th at Parkway Funeral Home. Family only visitation will begin at 11:00 and last until 12:00. Public visitation will be at 12:00 until 1:00 and then she will be interred at Midway Memorial Gardens.  Rev. Elder Benjamin Burt will officiate. Melanie Mae Roden Harville is survived by her three children, Rachel Harville, Lyndsey Harville Brown (BJ Brown) and Daniel Harville; her two brothers, Don Roden and Melvin Roden; her sister, Rose Newton; and two grandchildren, Tiffany Oliver and Gabriel Oliver of Moulton AL. Mrs. Roden-Harville was preceded in death by her husband, Boyce Harville; son, Joshua Harville; parents, Jessie Leon Roden, and Lillie Pearl Sparks; and three brothers, Buddy Roden, Jimmy Roden, and Barry Roden. Melanie was born April 24, 1957, in Lawrence County. She loved fishing, junking at yard sales, and crafting. Parkway Funeral home is honored to be assisting the family during this time of bereavement.
