Matthew Paul Luallen

The family of Matthew Paul Luallen, age 45, of Athens, will host a Memorial Gathering on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Parkway Funeral Home. 

Matthew, who died Friday, June 5, 2026, at his residence, was born August 4, 1980, in Alabama to Roger Luallen and Monica Gail Rylant Luallen.  He was preceded in death by his mother.

He is survived by his father, Roger Luallen; sister, Autumn Taarea (Roberto); nephews, Ethan and Evan Curnel; and niece, Hannah Taarea.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Athens-Limestone Humane Society.
