Matthew Lewis Polasik Hand

Funeral service for Matthew Lewis Polasik Hand, age 32, of Decatur will be Wednesday, January 18, 2023, 11:00 a.m. at Parkway Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Mark Milwee officiating.  His family will receive friends for one hour prior to service at the funeral home.  Interment will be in Midway Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Hand, who died Saturday, January 14, 2023, at his residence, was born October 22, 1990, in Alabama, to Michael Hand and Jean Polasik Hand.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Nick and Beverly Polasik, and Ollie Hand.

He is survived by two sons, Braydon Raney Hand and Sirius Hand; father, Michael Hand; mother, Jean Hand; brother, Gregory Hand (Alyssa); one sister, Jahnna Grisham (Lee); grandparents, William & Winnie Martin, and Ruby Grissom; and five nephews and nieces, Journi, Brandon, C. J., James Michael, and Emberleigh.

Pallbearers will be family friends.
