Mary Ruth (Hellums) Goodlett

Funeral service for Mary Ruth Hellums Goodlett, age 89, of Moulton will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Chris Godbee officiating.  The family will receive friends for one hour prior to service.  Interment will be in Moulton Memory Gardens.

Mrs. Goodlett, who died Friday, March 14, 2025, at her daughter's residence, was born December 25, 1935, in Alabama to Millard Hellums and Claudia Killingsworth Hellums.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Conrad Goodlett and her parents.

She is survived by her son, James Denny Goodlett (Amanda); two daughters, Sharon Goodlett Hicks (Randall) and Elizabeth Holland (Eric); 16 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Todd Appleton, Scott Appleton, James White, Ty Appleton, Maddox Appleton, and Eli Holland.  Honorary pallbearers will be Dallas Pullum and Will Holland.

The family would like to express their gratitude and appreciation to her nurse, Bridgette Fikes, and to Krystyn Pullum for their love and dedicated care.
