Mary Ethel (Scheurer) Thurston, age 94, of Falkville (formerly of Decatur and Pueblo, CO) died Monday, September 25, 2023, at Summerford Nursing Home. Her family may host a celebration of life at a later date. Parkway Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Mrs. Thurston was born March 17, 1929, in Colorado to James M. Scheurer and Lena Evelyn Richardson Scheurer.

She is survived by her sons, Donald R. Thurston and David S. Thurston.
