Lois Marie (Letson) Underwood

Funeral service for Lois Marie (Letson) Underwood, age 96, of Moulton, will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jonathan Henderson officiating.  The family will receive friends for 30 minutes prior to service.  Interment will be in Midway Memorial Gardens.  Guestbook available at www.parkwayfh.com.

Mrs. Underwood, who died Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at Decatur Health & Rehab, was born October 5, 1929, in Alabama to Ralph W. Letson and Kerri Mae Hale Letson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Underwood; daughters, Ann Story and Judy Underwood; parents; sisters, Doris Cross, Genean Columbo, and Jenette Gillespie; and one grandchild.

She is survived by her sons, Wilburn Underwood, Donald Underwood, and Jeff Underwood;  daughters, Pat Wallace, Beverly Jackson, and Lucy Butler; 16 grandchildren; and host of extended family.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
