Lavinia (Cartee) Wadsworth

Funeral service for Lavinia (Cartee) Wadsworth, age 87, of Trinity, will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will receive friends for one hour prior to service.  Interment will be in Midway Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Wadsworth, who died, Sunday, September 29, 2024, at NHC Healthcare in Moulton, was born,  June 12, 1937, in Alabama to Russell and Eula Cartee.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Travis Oneal Wadsworth; her parents; two brothers, Paul Cartee and Jimmie Cartee; four sisters, Audean Kelso, Betty Joyce Terry, Diane Godwin, and Jo Dorris Strickland.  

She is survived by her son, Charles Wadsworth (Gaylon); two daughters, Kay Wadsworth and Joy Patton (Gregg); four brothers, Dale Cartee (Ann), Phillip Cartee, Ronnie Cartee, and Donnie Cartee; three sisters, Annette Terry, Tina Godwin, and Linda Workman; and six grandchildren, Nathan Patton, Eryn Patton, Chelsea Lancaster, McKinsey Trevino, Matthew Wadsworth, and Jordan Lowry.
