Hillsboro - Funeral service for Lloyd Conrey "Poppy" Jones, 76, of Hillsboro will be Sunday, March 19, 2023, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel, at 11:00 AM with Bro. Bill Pullen officiating. Burial will be in Collins Family Cemetery. The family has requested no public visitation. They will receive friends and family at 1:30 pm at Hillsboro Area Volunteer Fire Department. Mr. Jones, who died Friday, March 17, 2023, at his residence, was born September 19, 1946, to Lloyd and Mavis Jones. He was a member of Fish Pond Baptist Church, board member and certified volunteer firefighter and EMT with Hillsboro Area Volunteer Fire Department. He served in the United States Army and was drafted during Vietnam. He enjoyed being a "Poppy" and loving his girls.
He was preceded in death by his parents and mother and father-in-law, Bill and Tootsie Collins.
