Funeral service for Kimberly June (Haggermaker) Blankenship, age 59, of Moulton will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at Bellview Baptist Church with Rev. Marcus Lipscomb and Rev. Dr. Alan Queen officiating and Parkway Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at the church. On Saturday, September 20th, the world lost one of its sweetest souls. Kimberly June Haggermaker Blankenship passed away at Vanderbilt University Medical Center due to cancer and heart surgery complications that could not be overcome. She was preceded in death by her father, Loyd Haggermaker; sister, Rhonda Aldridge Erdogan; and great-nephew, Carson Aldridge..
Kim leaves behind her husband, Samuel C. Blankenship; children, Kali Auen Woodall (Tyler) and Chandler Auen (Hayden); mother, Martha Tucker Haggermaker; sister, Kendra Haggermaker Parker; and brother, Brandon Haggermaker (Kalie Ann). She also leaves behind the lights of her life, her grandchildren, Tanner and Barrett Woodall, Connor and Lily Auen, Anna and Emily Blankenship (daughters of Clint and Amy Blankenship), Claudia, Bayla, and Taylor Blankenship (daughters of Will and Jessica Blankenship). Also, she was the acting grandmommy for Macie Aldridge (daughter of Jordan and Breanna Aldridge). All loved her dearly.
Kim was an IT/Computer Technician at Redstone Arsenal and a friend to all. She was a ray of sunshine to everyone she knew and met, and loved everyone without question.
She was a member of Bellview Baptist Church where she served on the music staff and as an instrumentalist.
Kim loved everyone and will be sorely missed by all who knew her, whether family, church family, work family, or life in general. She was a shining light of kindness and love to share with those she met.
