Judith Ann "Judy" Wright

Funeral service for Judith Ann "Judy" Wright, age 73, of Trinity will be 2:00 p.m. on  Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mrs. Wright passed away peacefully on December 31, 2025, in Cullman, AL.  She was born March 18, 1952, in Franklin County, AL.  Judith was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and caregiver whose life was defined by service, quiet strength, and unwavering love.  She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, Lynn Wright; her mother, Emma Roden; her father, Charles Lowery; her brothers, Charles Bearden and Thomas Bearden, Sr.; and her sisters, Nell Reed and Ellen Wiggington.

She is survived by her sons, Corey Wright and wife, Robin, of Hartselle, AL and Zach Wright and wife, Tammy, of Meridianville, AL; her brothers, Mark Roden, Jr. and Dewayne Roden; her sisters, Freida Garrison, Priscilla Payne, and Pam Foster; and seven grandchildren, Aliyah Wright, Gavin Wright, Tatum Wright, Teagan Wright, Will Murray, Addy-Grace Whaley, and Lindon Whaley, all of whom were the light of her life.

Judith loved sewing and spent many years doing so from home while lovingly caring for her family.  For more than 20 years, she devoted herself to caring for children, both full-time and part-time, touching countless lives with her patience and kindness.  She treasured time spent with family, whether singing karaoke, playing Bingo or Phase 10, or simply visiting and laughing together.  A stealth competitor at heart, she delighted in friendly games and especially loved her bull dogs.

Most of all Judith cherished her relationship with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and her family.  She consistently placed the needs of others--family members and even strangers--above her own and loved fiercely and without condition  For nearly 40 years, she quietly endured the challenges of rheumatoid arthritis, a devastating diagnosis she bore with grace.  She rarely complained and maintained a sunny disposition that inspired those around her.  

Judith's life was a testament to faith, resilience, and selfless love.  Her gentle spirit and steadfast devotion will be deeply missed, but her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched.  As she would want others to remember:  no matter the circumstances, with Jesus in your heart, you are never alone.

Pallbearers will be Corey Adams, Blake Kelley, Lucas Lawrimore, Will Murray, Skyler Pennington, and Gavin Wright. Honorary pallbearers will be Owen Newman and Lindon Whaley.
