Joyce Faye (Naylor) Hembree

Funeral service for Joyce Faye (Naylor) Hembree, age 87, of Decatur, will be 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mrs. Hembree, who died Thursday, September 12, 2024, at her residence, was born February 2, 1937, in Alabama to William Naylor and Buvena Rainey Naylor.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Hembree; daughter, Joy Hamilton; parents; and brother, Billy Ray Naylor.

She is survived by her sons, Joey Hembree (Gail) and Kerry Hembree (Tina); daughters, Tina Roberts (Patrick) and Ronda Martin (Rev. Dr. Chris Martin); brother, Herley Lee Naylor; a host of half-siblings; 10 grandchildren, Steven Haynes, Celia Hamilton, Ashley Hembree, Zachary Hembree, Colby White, Ali White, Montana Hembree, Gus Hembree, Erin Neal and Christian Martin; 19 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. 

Pallbearers will be Steven Haynes, Zachary Hembree, Colby White, Gus Hembree, Christian Martin, and Blaze Hembree.
