Jimmy Powell

Trinity - Funeral for Jimmy Powell, 64, of Trinity will be Sunday, January 3, 2021, at Parkway Funeral Home, at 2:00 PM.  Burial will be in Burningtree Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home.  Mr. Powell, who died Monday, December 28, 2020, at his residence, was born, February 11, 1956, to James Eldred Powell and Agnes Louise Nall Powell.  
He was preceded in death by his parents and son - Jerome Powell

Sons - Jeron (Tina) Powell, Adam Page, Josh Page
Sisters - Wanda (Jim) Birge, Becky (Randy) Howard, Marsha (Chuck) Woodberry

The Powell Family ask that you share in our rejoicing that Jimmy has now laid claim to the promise made by Christ when he first told his disciples that "in my Father's house are many mansions and I go to prepare a place for you". He is at peace now and can breathe easy. The separation from our dearly departed is difficult on those who remain tethered to these earthly bonds. It is natural and part of being human. Our memories, however painful they may seem now, will turn to joy as we recall our time spent together. Jimmy is walking with the Lord now and our separation from him is but temporary.
