Jerry Dewayne Skipworth, Sr.

Jerry Dewayne Skipworth, Sr., age 64, of Moulton, died Friday, May 22, 2026, at his residence.  His family may host a celebration of life at a later date.  Parkway Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Mr. Skipworth was born May 23, 1946, in Alabama to Joseph Clarence Skipworth and Mary Etta Parrish Skipworth.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Peebles Skipworth; parents; brothers, Buddy Skipworth and Joe Skipworth; and sister, Betty Skipworth Edwards.

He is survived by his sons, Jerry Dewayne Skipworth, Jr. (Laura) and Patrick West (Melody); daughters, Beth Skipworth Hatfield and Peggy Skipworth Barrett (Gary); sister, Patsy Skipworth Jones; six grandchildren, Ashley Skipworth Craie, Michelle Skipworth Hodges, Robin Hatfield Borden, Rebecca Hatfield Anderson, Katie Barrett, and James West; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and his special companion, Linda West.
