The family of Jerry Dell Hayes, age 77, of Moulton will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside service with military honors will immediately follow at Midway Memorial Gardens..
Mr. Hayes, who died Friday, March 20, 2026, at his residence was born August 13, 1948, in Alabama to Thomas William Hayes and Christine Betty Bell Hayes. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Tommy Faye Hayes; and sister, Joyce Cook. Mr. Hayes served in Vietnam with the U. S. Army; he was a member of the Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Jane (Ferguson) Hayes; son, Jerry Barrett Hayes (Tammy); daughter, Janell Beth Hayes Dial (Brian); brother, Tommy Dell Hayes; sisters, Jeanette Nix, Betty Winchester, and Shirley Beckman (Ted); six grandchildren, Savanna (Snider) Davis, Brady Dial, Shianna Snider, Abbi Dial, Morgan Jenkins (Josh), and Matthew Hayes (Jessica); and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
