Jeffery Wayne Lowery

Funeral service for Jeffery Wayne  Lowery, age 56, of Trinity will be 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 8, 2025, at  Parkway Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Greg Standridge and Bro. Ken Shelton officiating.  The family will receive friends for two hours prior to service.  Interment will be in Dancy's Chapel Cemetery.  

Mr. Lowery, who died Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born May 1, 1969, in Alabama to Herbert "Hub" Lowery and Miriam Bayne Lowery.   He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Kenneth Lowery.  He loved his grandchildren, horses, Alabama football, and his co-workers at Nucor Tubular. 

He is survived by his loving wife, Melissia (Smith) Lowery; five sons, Wyatt Lowery, Hunter Lowery, McKenzie Hicks (Chelsie), A. J. Smith (Tonya), and Greg Hicks (Adrienne); daughter, Lauren Lowery Godbee (Trent); three brothers, Delane Lowery (Charlotte), Tony Lowery (Julie), Eric Lowery (Christy); and 12 grandchildren, James Hicks, Mason Hicks, Ashton Hicks, Noah Hicks, Clayton Hicks, Sophia Hicks, Delvin Cerdan, Rhianna Cerdan, Tristan Smith, Elaina Smith, Grant Godbee, and Gavin Godbee.  

Pallbearers will be Blake Lowery, Sam Lowery, Wyatt Lowery, Greg Hicks, Jaxon Atkins, Joseph Lowery, and Hunter Bayne.
