Jared Malcolm "J" Rose, II

Funeral service for Jared Malcolm "J" Rose, II, age 31, of Decatur, will be 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lynn Terry officiating.  His family will receive friends for one hour prior to service.  Interment will be in Midway Memorial Gardens.  

Mr. Rose, who died Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born September 16, 1991, in Alabama to Robert Dale Rose and LouAn Lott Rose.  He attended Liberty Community Church, enjoyed fishing, and was an Alabama football fan.

He is survived by his wife, Rachel Rose; his parents, Robert and Louan Rose; two brothers, Samuel Munroe and Bradley Grissom; two sisters, Christina Rose and Sandy Grissom; uncles, Ernie Lott and Ed Morison; aunt, Kimberly Lott; three nephews, Cameron Grissom, Christopher Grissom, and Ryan Grissom; and niece, McKenzie Grissom.

Pallbearers will be Samuel Munroe, Austin Melton, Gus Hembree, Caleb Treadway, Randy Alexander, and Stacey Blazer.
