Janice Melissa (Carroll) King

Janice Melissa (Carroll) King, age 73, of Hillsboro died Sunday, August 17, 2025, at NHC Healthcare.  Her family will host a memorial service at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Mount View Baptist Church. They will receive friends for one hour prior to service. Parkway Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.  

Mrs. King was born January 15, 1952, in Alabama to Marcus Carroll and Wilma Ruth Hitt Carroll.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilburn King, and her parents.  

She is survived by her daughter, Tina Parker; brother, Dennis Carroll (Delores); sister, Carolyn Anderson (Jimmie); three grandchildren; and a host of extended family.
