It is with deep sorrow that the family announces the passing of Janice Marie (Clemons) Tucker, 77, at her home May 31, 2025, surrounded by her family. She went home to be with her Jesus.
Born to Fred and Esther Clemons, she was a devoted mother, grandmother, and church member. Always involved in all three aspects, she poured out love and compassion for all who knew her. Known as "Nana" to her grandchildren, they gave her pride and joy. When you met her, even for the first time, it was as though she knew you your whole life. She will be remembered for her kind and giving heart. Her values were strong, both in family and in Jesus. She loved her Lord Jesus, and wanted everyone to "not leave earth without Him."
She is survived by her four children, Maurice Tucker (Kelly), Carolyn Wiggins (Ron), Robbie Tucker (Janice), and Kristie Walters (Allen); 22 Grandchildren; and 13 Great-Grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Carol Schwartz (Harry), Charlotte Terry (Larry), and Darlene Waldrep (Bobby).
Visitation for Janice will be Wednesday, June 4, 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Parkway Funeral Home, in Trinity, Alabama. Funeral will be Thursday, June 5, 2:00 p.m. at Family Baptist Church in Trinity, Alabama.
In memory of Janice, the family asks all donations be given to her loving church at Family Baptist Church, in Trinity Alabama.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Hospice of North Alabama, and all of the caregivers who were with her in her final days,
