James William "Jimmy" Powers

Funeral service for James William "Jimmy" Powers, age 67, of Danville will be 12:00  p.m. on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mr. Powers, who died Saturday, May 4, 2024, at his residence, was born July 10, 1956 in Alabama to Calvin and Annie Powers.  He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Mason, Larry, and Farron; and three sisters, Sandra, Mindy, and Charlotte.  He enjoyed fishing, spending time with family and friends, and restoring his '63 Ford Galaxy.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy (Guyse) Powers; three sons, James Powers, Daniel Powers, and Jake Powers (Cheryl); brother, Jeff  (Martha); and 13 grandchildren, Kayla (Will), Calvin, Jolee, Gracie, Briar, Kadin, Landon, Carley, Lincoln, Lawson, Remi, Colt, and Kollin.

Pallbearers will be Landon, Calvin, Briar, Will, Robert, and Michael.
