Jackie Carl "Jack" Whisenant, Sr.

Funeral for Jack Whisenant, age 77, of Hillsboro will be Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel, at 11:00 AM with Pastor Les Jones officiating.  Burial will be in Morris Chapel Cemetery.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Mr. Whisenant, who died Friday, September 9, 2022, at Lawrence Medical Center, was born February 9, 1945, to Carl Whisenant and Bertha Whisenant. He was a member of  Chalybeate Springs Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include:
Wife - Judy Whisenant
Sons - Joseph Whisenant (Shawna) and Jack Whisenant (Adrienne)
Stepson - Lynn Parker (Melony)
Daughters- Dawn Fletcher (Dean), Karri Whisenant (Mikel Stratton), and Rhonda Whisenant
Stepdaughter - Kathy Alexander (Ronnie)
Brother-Sam Whisenant
13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.  
Pallbearers will Matthew Whisenant,  Ryan Boothby, David Halbert, Nicholas Whisenant, JoJo Whisenant, and Ian Whisenant
